Service modifications and cancelations policy

These conditions apply for the hotel services, land and sea tours to Laguna San Rafael, which form part of determined tourist programs which constitute an inseparable package deal

MODIFICATIONS: The passenger may change the start date of the tourist package only once, depending on the availability, up until 15 days before this starts. No change whatsoever may be made once this period has expired.

CANCELATIONS: Cancelations must be made in writing, specifying the reasons, assuming the responsibility for the penalty clauses indicated below, which depend on the period in which the cancelation is requested.

  • High Season

The entire amount paid out will be refunded for cancelations made 60 days before the start of the tourist package deal.

50% of the total amount paid out will be refunded for cancelations made between 30 and 60 days before the start of the tourist package deal.

There will be no refund for cancelations made less than 30 days before the start of the package deal.

  • Low Season

The entire amount paid out will be refunded for cancelations made 30 days before the start of the package deal,

50% of the amount paid out will be refunded for cancelations made 15 days before the start of the package deal.

There will be no refund for cancelations made less than 15 days before the start of the package deal.

The event where the passenger, for foreseeable reasons, such as, for example, existing volcanic eruptions, ash clouds, fog and other phenomena of this nature, cannot make the air or sea connections to reach the starting point of the activities involved in the package, which is Hotel Loberias del Sur, will not constitute force majeure, and will be subject to the aforementioned penalties.

If the passenger or passengers, due to rain, or other reasons of this nature, which do not impede holding one or more activities involved in the tourist package, does or do not wish to go on the tour, this passenger or these passengers will not be entitled to any refund whatsoever.

In the case that the passenger wishes to cancel a reservation to take a new reservation, taking advantage of any promotion published for this after the moment they make the original reservation, they will not be entitled to any type of refund over the amount they have paid out.

NON-APPEARANCE: In the case that the passenger does not arrive at the Hotel for the start of the activities involved in the tourist package, the company will assume the non-appearance of the passenger involved and will not refund any part of the tourist package.

ACT OF GOD OR FAULT OF THE COMPANY. If due to acts of god, as defined by the law, any of the tours cannot be made, no refund will be made, and the tours not affected by the act of god will be, along with the accommodation in the Hotel.

If due to the fault of the company, or whomever provides the services provided in the package, any of the tours, whether on land or by sea, could not be provided, then, and only then, will the value of the tour be refunded to the affected passenger, without this meaning that all the package is canceled, unless the passenger and the company agree to make another tour in exchange for the one not provided, or another solution is agreed upon mutually.

ITINERARIES AND TIMES: The company reserves the right to alter land or sea routes, remove ports of call, stops, change sailing times, departures and stays, without notifying the passengers beforehand. The times for setting sail and departing on tours must be re-confirmed by the passengers 24 hours in advance of the trip.
